Roadway Restriping Work Scheduled for Saddle Rd. April 29 to May 24

The County of Hawai’i Department of Public Works Traffic Division will be striping a a 4.5 mile stretch of Saddle Rd. from the 49-mile marker to Hwy 190 from Monday, April 29, 2019 to Friday, May 24, 2019 weather permitting. Work will be conducted weekdays from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. 

Special off-duty officers will be posted in the area to facilitate traffic movement. Motorists are advised to expect delays and to drive with caution.

The County of Hawai’i Department of Public Works apologizes for any inconvenience this may cause and thanks the community for their patience and understanding.

If there are any questions or concerns about the traffic restriping repair work, please call the Traffic Division at 961-8341.
